Lois Marilou Trice, 84, passed away on April 26, 2021. She was born on April 26, 1937, to Laura Blanche Simpson and Martin Paulson in Evansville, Indiana.

Marilou had a heart of gold. She was an amazing woman who cared for everyone she met so deeply. She was so selfless with a lot of love to give. She was a seamstress for many years, she even made her children’s clothes. Marilou made an impact on everyone she knew. She worked in the school cafeteria for many years. She drove a school bus for 31 years. She played organ and piano music at church. She was a jack of all trades. She enjoyed crafting and crocheting, she loved handwork. She enjoyed canning fresh fruit and vegetables in her free time. She was a woman of many talents. Marilou will be missed greatly.

Marilou was preceded in death by her parents Martin Paulson and Laura Blanche Simpson; her loving husband of 40 years Roy Trice; and four brothers.

Marilou is survived by her four children, Gary (Julie) Trice, Terry (Heather) Trice, Cheryl (Carl) Amos, Carol (Tom) Szalga; grandchildren Melissa (Shawn) Zehner, Mark (Jessica) Trice, Scott Trice, Eric Trice, Kyle Trice, Talisha (Greg) Keith, Justin (Katy) Amos, Zachary Moser, Josh (Kirsten) Moser; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She will be deeply missed.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Augustus Cottage and Heart to Heart Hospice.
