Evansville- Lloyd Curtis Crowe Sr., 80, of Evansville passed away on Tuesday June 7, 2022, with his loving family at his side. He was born March 24,1942 to Marian and Stanley Crowe.

Lloyd was Honorably Discharged from the United States Navy Reserve SRE-1 (1959) and then United States Marine Corp Lance Corporal Level 3 Marksman (1960-1965). Later in life worked for the Metropolitan City Bus system and retired from The Vanderburgh County Assessor’s Office. Lloyd loved his dogs Prince, Bella and Zeus. Every morning they would start their day with a cup of coffee then off to wake up the one he loved the most his beautiful wife Madel. Lloyd’s best days were lived being a father, a grandfather and a great grandfather. Lloyd was a member of Oakhill Christian Church.

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Madel Crowe; sisters, Karen Scarlett Priester and Janice Zendell; brother, Robert Crowe; Daughters, April (Jason) Reynolds, Debra (John) Schafer, Misty Ventura, Karen Crowe, Cheryl Lee, Alicia (Edmond) Travis,
Rose Padgett, and Rafaela Hertel; Sons, Lloyd Crowe Jr., Rodney Crable, and James
(Brandie) McKinley. Several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his youngest son Terrance Wayne Crowe who we know greeted him with open arms at their reuniting.

A Private Service will be held for the family. With Burial at a later date.

The Family would like to thank Compassus Hospice Nursing Staff especially Jack Detty, Melissa Clausen, Chaplain Matthew Woodside and Jordan Goins for all the love and care that we received during this time.
