Lisa McNeely Cranford, 74, went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2021. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 21, 1947, to Ralph and Wanda (Schaar) McNeely. Lisa is survived by her husband of 56 years, Samuel S. Cranford and their son, Samuel McNeely Cranford. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Wanda McNeely; her grandparents Henry and Reba Schaar, and Charles and Daisy McNeely.
In 1965 she married the love of her life, Sam, and spent her life as a homemaker taking care of their family and her dachshund, Baby. She loved reading to their son Samuel M. Cranford from the time he was a baby. Lisa enjoyed watching Indiana University basketball games and working crossword puzzles. She will be dearly missed.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Heritage Hospice Center for all the care and compassion they provided for Lisa.
Services for Lisa will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Friday, November 5, 2021. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the service to immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Heritage Hospice Center.
