Linda Gayle Elpers, 76, passed away on October 30, 2018. She was born on August 5, 1942 to Bernard H. and Catherine Brandsasse in Evansville, IN.
Linda loved old country western movies and music, collecting bears, and her yorkie-poo Buddy. For 30 years she celebrated birthdays with her mother and her sisters in the summers at Audubon State Park. Sometimes her brothers would join in. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family and travelling with her brother Leon.
She is survived by her brothers Leon (Regetta) Brandsasse and Jerry Lee Brandsasse, sisters Peggy L. (Leon B.) Koester, Donna R. (Ralph) Bonebrake, Angela K. Scheller, and Joann (Kean) Dietz, her niece Melinda G. (Darrell) McFarland who was always by her side, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Bernard Brandsasse and her brothers Bernard G. Brandsasse, William Brandsasse and, Bobby Gene Brandsasse.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home with a funeral service to directly follow.
