Lewis Emery “Louie” Hall Jr., 64, passed away on September 21, 2019. He was born on August 5, 1955 to Lewis and Thelma Hall Sr. in Dubois, Indiana
Louie was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed bass fishing and hunting turkey. Louie had a passion for gardening and jigsaw puzzles. He worked as a landscaper for Commercial Landscaping for over 30 years. He then opened his own business with his wife called Landscape Accents and then became a manager at Hillside Gardens for about 10 years. He specialized in paving work and completed several projects around town that he was proud of. His beautiful work will live on all over Evansville. Louie was a family man and loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life.
Louie is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sue Hall; his children Kim (Ed) Phillippe, Rick Howell (Tammy), Darren Howell, Melissa Hall (Terry Eads), Crystal (Lee) Cranor; his grandchildren Mickey McClarney, Damien (Katie) Howell, Aaron Christmas (Johnna Nelson), Kayla Phillippe, Brooke Walls, Blake (Elissa) Howell, Lilith Butts, Alysta (Alex) Butts, Alex Butts, Travis Howell (Kaylie), Tiffany Butts, Marie Howell, Victoria Cranor, Bubba Cranor, Drake Howell, and Savannah Brown; his great-grandchildren Isaac, Ava, Ebie, Izzy, Dominic, Aibrey, Adrienne, Alizae, Willow, Samson, soon-to-be Charlene, Sebastian, Hogan, Anderson, Benson, Abel, Elijah, Annabel, and one on the way; his siblings Dallas Hall, David (Kathy) Hall, Garry (Marcia) Hall, Scott Hall, Pauline (Gary) Woolard, Dorothy Lancaster, Ruth Hall, Karen Hall, and Marcia Kay Hall; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Louie was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 25th at Sunset Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Louie’s funeral arrangements at Sunset Funeral Home.
