Leonardo Salvador Lopez, 68, passed away on May 17, 2021. He was born on August 2nd, 1952, to Atanacio and Cruz Lopez in Crosswell, Michigan.
Leonardo was a sports fanatic, he loved watching wrestling, the Colts, and Michigan State. Family was so important to him, he was always there for his children. He enjoyed cooking Hispanic food, Migas were his specialty. He was a professional when it came to his Spanish rice. Cooking was often a hobby he enjoyed with his wife. He was so proud of his Hispanic heritage. He was always laid back and go with the flow. He had an amazing sense of humor. He loved his family more than anything. Leonardo will be missed greatly.
Leonardo was preceded in death by his parents Antanacio and Cruz Lopez and 6 of his siblings.
Leonardo is survived by his loving wife Karen; children Rachel, Joshua, Nathan, and John Lopez; his 5 siblings; and extended family.
Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service at 12 pm on Monday, May 24th, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home.
