Kenneth (Kenny) Wayne Smith, 79, passed away on March 17, 2021. He was born on June 21,1941 to James and Louise (Hale) Smith in Evansville, Indiana.
Kenny stayed busy with many hobbies; he enjoyed working cross word puzzles, reading books, building classic car models, genealogy and was the biggest lover of Elvis Presley. Kenny loved his family very much, and they loved him the same. He will be greatly missed.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents James Cordell Smith and Louise (Hale) Smith, his loving wife of many years Audrey Smith, his sister Tonya Coan, brothers in law Terry Bamberger and Ray Wilhite, his daughter Mildred Gold, grandchildren David Smith Jr, Shawn Beaty Jr, Amaya Oaks. And one great granddaughter.
Kenny is survived by his children April (Jeff) Jennings, Teresa (Kenny) Elsfelder, David Smith, and Gene (Lillie) Smith, Malissa Oaks-Yeager, Heather Williams, Rosemary Durbin; his sisters Sharon Wilhite, Phyllis Bamberger, Susan (Les) Horvath, and brother Donald Smith; grandchildren Aleasha Berfanger, Jarrett Elsfelder, Jessika Elsfelder, Shane Lynn, Brianna Smith, Katie Smith, Arieonnia Smith, Cheyanna Curry, Starrlyn Smith, Sabena Faith Oaks, Mikey Yeager, Benjamen Yeager, Krischeanna Yeager, Alycisa Oaks, Kazte’ail Oaks, Ann Beauty, Monica Beauty, Ricki Durbin, Kathy Durbin, Jackie Williams, Antonia Grant, Artianna Grant, Jessica Grant, Trinity Williams, Alexandra Morton, Contessa Gold, and Lillian Faye Gold; Kenny also had three great grandsons.
