I worked with Karen at the Green River District Health Department, Owensboro, Kentucky 1994-1995. She introduced me to Jim Budde in 2001 and attended our wedding at the Vanderburgh County Courthouse, January 22, 2002. Yes, Karen always had a book in her hands from day one when she introduced herself:. “I may not always be your friend, but I’ll always be your buddy (Budde).l

Karen & I grew close during her years working at the Health Department, and the time she remained in Owensboro, after leaving work. She was an amazing friend to myself and my daughter. We lost touch with one another after she married and moved to Evansville, but tried to reach out to one another via Facebook occasionally. She will be missed! Sending prayers & HUGS to Shaun, David & her precious granddaughter.

Karen, girl when you said let’s do it I never got used to the fact you meant that second! LOL Thank you for basically raising Maxwell especially when Skip had a project going. And it never bothered you having them over playing. The ol’ cul de sac has now lost its mojo. Karen, you are a friend among the elite…one I’ll always carry in my heart♥️ Go, be happy, with Skip, pain free! I love you girl🌷

I worked with Karen at Berry. She was very proud of her family. A hard worker. And a good friend. She will be greatly missed. Sending her family love and prayers.
