Karen Denise (Martin) Wells, 72, passed away on April 26, 2023. She was born on September 4, 1950, to Harold Martin Sr. and Nelda Eileen Martin in Evansville, Indiana.
To know Karen, was to love her. Karen knew no stranger and was a loving friend to all. She looked forward to running around town with her friends on the weekend. She treasured the time she spent with her family. Karen will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Keith Wells; son Keith Alan Steele; siblings Roxanna (Keith) Limp, and Susan “Tinker” (Rick) Stewart; and many loving extended family.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Harold “Pete” Martin Jr. and Robert “Bobby” Martin; and sister-in-law and best friend Thelma Martin.
Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service at 12pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
