So sorry for your loss. Julia was my manager for many years at Naturalizer shoes. She made us all feel like a little family instead of co workers. A heart of pure gold. Beautiful inside and out.

Julia Carter, 60, passed away on June 30, 2019. She was born on September 24, 1958 to L. Ray and Judith Stewart in Evansville, Indiana.

Julia was a kind and loving woman with a very contagious laugh. She loved to laugh especially with her husband. She was married to the love of her life Paul Carter for 37 years and loved spending time with him. Family was everything to her and honesty and loyalty were musts. Julia was one of the hardest workers you would ever meet. She worked for 20 years at Naturalizer before becoming an office manager for Helzberg for 9 years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, coloring, and vacationing in Gatlinburg.

Julia is survived by her husband Paul Carter; her sons Justin (Meghan) Carter and Brandon Carter; her mother Judith Stewart; her siblings Jim (Gail), Jennifer (David), John (Tonya), and Jay (Melissa); and her two pit bulls Nala and Hazel.

Julia is preceded in death by her father L. Ray Stewart.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Monday, July 8th at Sunset Funeral Home.
