Juanita Ruth Wood Henderson, 92, of Evansville, died December 2, 2017 from a stroke. She was born September 28, 1925 to the late Estella and Jesse Frank Wood.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wilbur “Webb” Henderson.
Juanita attended Caze Elementary and Bosse High School and was a life time member of Washington Ave. Church of Christ.
The family wishes to thank Jane Miller, Diana Stark, and Kelly Gilbert for their kind care and devotion to Juanita and her husband.
Memorial contributions may be to the charity of your choice, the American Diabetes Association, or INdependence Diabetes Camp held each summer at Camp Carson.
Services will be Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Washington Ave. Church of Christ with private burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
