Winifred “Juanita” Gertrude Hall, 98 of Evansville, IN passed away at Parkview Nursing Center on December 31, 2019. She was born in Henderson, Kentucky to her parents Robert and Susan (Alvey) Hall.
Juanita lived a long full life and experienced many things during her 98 years. She was a faithful servant to her Lord and attended Grace Baptist Church for many years where she taught Sunday school. She had a strong work ethic and learned how to be a survivor. She raised her family and worked full time at Kent Plastics and Ball Plastics. She was a caretaker and loved her family with her whole heart. In her spare time, Juanita enjoyed gardening and canning, especially her green beans. She was an avid reader, and always wanted to be outdoors.
She leaves behind many beloved family members. Juanita is survived by her children; Dixie Rautenkranz Sylvia Bassemier, Michael (Marsha) Longist,; daughter-in-law, Susanne; grandchildren; Billy Oglesby, Jay Drybread, Selena Smith, Krista Mead, Brett Bozarth, Vicki Claspel, Taylor Mohr, Kaylie Hall, Jennifer Chambers; and 14 great grandchildren.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles H. Hall, her children, Shirley Oglesby, Susan Decker, and Mark Hall; sons-in-law, David Bassemier and Dennis Rautenkranz; granddaughters; Victoria Oglesby, and Allison Drybread.
Services for Juanita will be held at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
