Josephine Ann (Craddock) Walton, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 3, 2020. She was born on February 24, 1941 to John and Margaret (Burns) Abell in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Josephine was married to John G. Walton for 29 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for ARAB Pest Control for over 30 years. Josephine was a woman who would always tell you how much she loved you; she also felt you could never tell them you love them too much. She’s a lady who loved the Lord with all her heart and soul; and she attended McCutchanville Community Church for 10 years. Josephine’s house was the place to be while the kids were growing up; Larry and Darryl’s friends were always made to feel welcome when they came over. She was the boys’ biggest cheerleader! She made it to all their school and sports events; she was everyone’s biggest fan. Josephine also loved to read; Christian, crime, romance novels were her favorite. She enjoyed traveling all over the United States; Florida, Gulf Shores, and New Orleans were her favorite places to visit. Josephine had a great love and fondness for her dogs, Caesar, Poo Bear, Patches, and Sammy. Above all else, Josephine loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time rooting them on as she could.

Josephine is survived by her husband John Walton; two sons, Larry (Susie) Craddock and Darryl Craddock; two grand-daughters, Mallory (Ryan) Baker and Shelby (Cody) Brown; eight great-grandchildren, Graham, Ady Grace, Stella Rose, Grady, Etta, Thea Joy, Grayson Dean, and Willa Faye; former daughter-in-law and friend Michelle (Micki) Craddock; a cousin, Patty (Jimmy) Howell; and a niece and nephews.

Preceding Josephine in passing was her grandparents, her parents, her first husband of 33 years, Capt. Michael Albert Craddock, and two close aunts.

The family plans to have a remembrance day for Josephine this coming spring.
