John was born to Mildred L. Durham (VanVactor) and John S. Durham Sr. on June 14, 1965 in Evansville, IN. He was the oldest of 9 children.

On August 30, 2018, John passed away unexpectedly, due to complications from a heart attack, at Deaconess Midtown Campus in Evansville.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred (1994) and father, Johnny (2006). John is survived by his wife; Jennifer M. Allen; 6 children; Winter Burns of Evansville, Johnna Anderson (Durham) of Loogootee, Jennifer Tuck (Durham), Marcus Fridy, Elizabeth Durham, and Ethan Durham, all of Evansville; 8 brothers and sisters; Roy Durham Sr., Denise Durham, Troy Durham Sr., Steven Durham, Gail Buck, Ramonda Bell, Jamie Durham, and Jason Durham; 9 grandchildren; Sidney Dillback, Bailey Post, Bryant Post, Brenna Anderson, Dwayne Anderson Jr, Thea Anderson, Karis Alire, Nolan Tuck, and Isaac Tuck; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

John was a jack-of-all-trades, some would say, with a tough exterior, but had a heart of gold. He loved his family, but more importantly he loved his children.

John’s final resting place will be at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1800 St. George Rd., in Evansville, Indiana. There will be a visitation from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM held at Sunset Funeral Home, Friday, September 7, 2018 with a service to immediately follow.
