John A. Cook, 55, passed away on November 29, 2022. He was born on July 7, 1967 to John Cook and Imogene (Moore) Cook in Evansville, Indiana.
If you were looking for a good time, you called John. John was your “Yes Man” and the life of the party. He was outgoing, witty, and never met a stranger. He never missed an opportunity to take on the open road just him and his beloved Harley Davidson. He loved spending time outdoors and going on a new adventure. Most of all, he was kind-hearted, generous, and a friend to all.
John is survived by his fiancé Barbara McCormick; son John Anthony (Devon) Cook; stepchildren Lisa (Jim) Burdick, Brad (Andrea) McCormick, Brandyn McCormick; grandchildren Camden, Braylyn, Brilee, Makenna, Sofie, Porter; his Shih Tzu Oreo; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 with visitation starting at 5 pm until the time of service at 6 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
