Jerome “Jerry” Henry Riedford

Jerome “Jerry” Henry Riedford, 81, passed away on June 11, 2021. He was born on January 14, 1940, to George and Mary Riedford in St. Wendel, Indiana.

Jerry was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. In 1966, Jerry married the love of his life, Betty. Together, they’ve been lifetime members of the Riverbend Club. Jerry was also a huge Dale Earnhart #3 fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Jerry maintained and restored the family car, a 1965 Pontiac Bonneville. He served the country in the U.S Army and then went on to work at Whirlpool for 43 years. Jerry loved to have a good time and will be greatly missed.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty; children Bryan, Eric, and Joy Riedford; grandchild Dane; sister Virginia Riesing; and his buddy Ed Schaefer.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 5-7 pm and following on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, visitation 10 am until time of service at 11 am at Sunset Funeral Home with burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
