    So sorry for your loss. I wish I could attend your showing of Sue. Unfortunately I am unable to come at this time. She was one of the four “golden girls” and will be truly missed by not only the remaining three “golden girls’ but all who knew and loved her. Remembering Sue as the active and fun loving person is the way I want to remember her. I will always cherish the years we got to spend together. Her family is in our prayers.

Janet Sue Dean, 75, of Evansville, Indiana passed away June 18, 2018 at her home in Evansville. She was born November 16, 1942 daughter of Ralph and Imogene (Clark) Smith in McLeansboro, Illinois. Throughout her life, she enjoyed a career as a commercial insurance manager at H.U.B International Insurance. She was known for her generosity, kindness, thoughtfulness, and unconditional love for others. She never met a stranger; everyone was like a dear friend to her. She had a heart of gold; doing everything within her power to help others. She was especially fond of traveling, where she could go kayaking, skiing, be anywhere near an ocean, or able to get lost in the beauty of the mountains. Above all, she loved her family and friends, always putting them first.

Janet is survived by her sons, David Barbre and wife, Darlene of Evansville and Tim Barbre of Evansville; daughter/granddaughter, Emily Sue Heath of Evansville; niece, Patsy Franz and husband, Jeremy; daughter/caregiver, Michelle Waters; grandchildren, Allan DeBose and Laura Jones; granddaughter/ caregiver, Brooklyn Schauer; and loving friends, Carolyn Barrett, Sandy Dalhaus, and Donna Lloyd.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Imogene and brothers, Donald, John, and Allan.

Visitations will be held Thursday, June 21 and Friday, June 22 from 4-7:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home in Evansville, Indiana.
