James T. Thomas, 64, passed away on June 15, 2023. He was born on April 28, 1959, to David P. Thomas and Mary T. Cole in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
James was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He loved sharing stories from his time in the service. He graduated from San Fernando High School. He went on to attend college in California. James never met a stranger and loved chatting with his friends and family. He was known to always have a good joke up his sleeve. Above all, James loved his family. James will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
James is survived by his children Lashand (Kim) Siebenmorgen, Teresa (Fidencio) Hampton, Obbie Brown, Obbie “Lucky” Brown (Pam); several grandchildren; nephew Kenny Nelson; longtime friend Phil Bailey; and numerous loving extended family.
James was preceded in death by his late wife of 17 years Elizabeth Brown-Thomas; daughter Kimberly Hampton; parents David Thomas and Mary Cole; and siblings David Thomas Jr., Joseph Thomas, and Clara Gibson
