We used to live in the same neighborhood with Jim & Kathy. Bennington Forest in Memphis, TN. They were a kind, gentle & loving couple. So sweet to my small son, Greg. I know Kathy is going to miss Jim terribly. They & the other neighbors we had at that time made for a perfect neighborhood. We’ve never been able to find another one like it. Special people make for special times in life & Jim was special to all of us. Prayers for Kathy & the family. May he rest in peace! Marlon & Jeannie Smith

I enjoyed seeing Jim and Kathy each Fall at Purdue.
Jim was passionate about the game and his school!. Always admired his wit.
And the fact that Kathy attended every game with him!. That is true love when your partner endures hot and cold to watch football.
Love you both, and may Jim finally have the rest he so well deserves.
