Ina (Giolitto) Seibert, 92, peacefully passed away in her home on January 9, 2021. She was born on November 20, 1928 to Sylvester and Beulah (Tanner) Giolitto in Greenville, Kentucky.

Ina was married to her late husband, Chester Seibert, for 66 years. They traveled throughout the United States in their RV and also took several trips to Europe. Ina’s love of gardening led her to join and be very active in the Newburgh Garden Club. She loved watching her plants and flowers grow. She loved sewing, quilting, basket weaving, and cooking. She was a member of the Newburgh Quilting Club and participated in many craft shows. She enjoyed playing Bridge and participated in bowling and golfing leagues.

Ina was very involved with the community, volunteering at Mother Theresa’s and planting flower gardens in the community. Spending time with her family was what Ina loved the most. To her family, Ina will always be their beloved mother, grandma, and great-grandma.

Surviving Ina are her two daughters, Sylvia Sorensen, Dr. Rebecca
(Dr. Jakob) Schlee; three grandchildren, Brian (Katie) Schlee, Dr. Kevin (Erin) Schlee, and Nica Sorensen; three great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Charlotte and Aiden Schlee; two sisters, Dorothy (Pete) Zinn and Jean Rickard; two brothers, James (Marylee) Giolitto and Bobby (Joyce) Giolitto; a sister-in-law, Mary Giolitto and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Mary, Sharon, Sally, and Lana whose care helped make it possible for Ina to stay in her own home.

Ina is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chester; her brother, Edward Giolitto, and a brother-in-law, Warren Rickard.
