Grace Jeanette (Temme) Pepper, 74, passed away at the University of Miami Hospital Miami, Florida after a 5 year battle with cancer on February 21, 2020. She was born on March 17, 1945 to Jacob William and Betty L. (Green) Temme in Evansville, Indiana.
Grace attended Bosse High School and later in life moved to Homestead, Florida for work and retirement. She spent many years in management at multiple bars and helped assist her husband with construction jobs. Her favorite pastime was reading.
Grace is survived by her husband Charles R. Pepper of Homestead, Florida; her children Robert E. Linville (Sherri) of Booneville, IN, John H. Lemberg of Evansville, IN, Darrin R. Lemberg (Melody) of Mount Vernon, IN, and Karesa G. Austin of Evansville, IN; her step-son Richard A. (Mary) Pepper of New Harmony, IN; her 14 grandchildren; her 9 great-grandchildren; her sister Betty (Pat) Boyer of Evansville; and several loving nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-laws.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Larry Ray Lemberg; her brother (Dickie) William Richard Temme; and step-daughter Joyce D. (Pepper) Fox.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Friday, February 28th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
