Geraldine Brown, 77, passed away on October 24, 2022. She was born on October 5, 1945 to Elbert “Dutch” E. Jernigan and Evelyn P. (Jones) Jernigan in Greenville, Kentucky.
Geraldine graduated from Central High School class of 1963. She met the love of her life, Clarence, and they got married on February 1, 1964. She was a proud homemaker and cared deeply for her family. She greatly enjoyed crafting; whether knitting, making wreaths, blankets, scrapbooking, or crocheting. She had an impressive collection of Teddy Bears. Geraldine treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. Geraldine’s kind heart and sweet spirit will be missed greatly.
Geraldine is survived by her children Sherrie (Kevin) Burch, Eric Brown, Daniel (Kamilah) Brown; grandchildren Jonathan, Nicholas, Rachel, Nathaniel, Jacob, Kierra; great-grandson Bennett; siblings Jerry Jernigan and Ellis “Ray” Jernigan; and numerous extended family and friends.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband Clarence W. Brown, parents Elbert “Dutch” E. Jernigan and Evelyn P. (Jones) Jernigan, and sister Nancy Coomer.
Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service at 12pm on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home.
