Gerald Ray Williams, 81, passed away on July 14, 2020. He was born on March 24, 1939 to Herschel and Myrtle Williams in Evansville, Indiana.
Jerry served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked in maintenance and engineering at City of Salem for 30 years. Jerry was a family man. He loved spending time with his family. He loved being outdoors. His main passion in life was boating. He enjoyed boating with his family. Jerry enjoyed watching horse races at Ellis Park where he worked when he was younger. Jerry was a member of the Model A Club.
Jerry is survived by his daughter Danielle Michaelson-Williams; his grandson Adrian Michaelson; his siblings Betty Ann Gauer, and Rudy Zachary; many loving nieces and nephews; and his lifetime friend Marlene.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Donald Williams, Joyce Atcheson, and Beverly Hirsh.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Monday, July 20th at Sunset Funeral Home with military honors.
