Georgia Lee Beck (Mead} went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2022. Georgia was born in Evansville Indiana on October 19, 1944, to Bernice A. Burns and George Mead.
Georgia grew up in Evansville and attended North High School. She was a beautiful woman who never met a stranger. Among many of her accomplishments she was a world class dancer and skater. She was a black belt in karate, she could sew, cook wonderful meals and desserts which included famous fudge, baked macaroni and cheese and pecan pie. She could pretty much do anything she put her mind to. She beat breast cancer. She loved her church and church family. She loved her husband,children,grandchildren and all her family dearly. She was a friend to many, many people.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband James E Beck, her parents, her brother Jerry Burns, grandson Cody Grassman and granddaughter Gabrille Beck.
Survivors include her two daughters Dana Grassman and Kim Smith (Joe) Her son James C Beck, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
