Sorry for the loss of a family member. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Auntie Gail will be missed. Have so many memories of her when I was growing up. She will keep Norma her sister and Clara her mother company. Uncle Herman will have to keep them straight.
Geneva G. Fark, 78 , passed away on February 25th, 2021. She was born on January 21st, 1943 to Virgil and Clara Benton, in Evansville, Indiana.
Geneva loved her family more than anything. She was a simple woman who enjoyed the little things in life. Geneva kept busy either working her two jobs or spending time with loved ones. She worked as a candy maker for Michael Libs Chocolate for over 40 years, she was among the first to open the store in downtown Evansville. Geneva also worked at Kim’s Scrub Connections for over 30 years. She will be missed dearly by both her family and her work families, as well.
Geneva is survived by her two sons, Dean (Shayna) Fark and Scott (Krista) Fark; her grandchildren Ashley, Nate (Ally), and Cooper Fark; her great-grandchildren Erick Cashen, Abbigail Holder, and Brinlee Jo Fark. Her siblings Charles (Julie), Dale, Dewey, Lewis, Louise, Deana, Donna, Leta, and her special friend, Gary Barnett.
Geneva was preceded in death by her loving husband Herman Fark; her parents Virgil and Clara Benton, and her sister Norma, brother Larry and sister Caroline.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the ladies at Heritage Hospice and her doctors that took care of her, Dr. Vivian Cook and Dr. Katie Keller.
