Fannie Mai Jenkins, 87 of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 19,1933 to the late Nathaniel and Vallie Jenkins in Gallatin Tennessee, she a was devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.

Fannie enjoyed cooking, crocheting, working in her yard, and spending time with her family. Most of all she loved music and was always ready to dance. She worked as a caregiver at VNA Plus for over 10 years where she loved taking care of many.

Fannie is preceded in death by her late husband George Garrett, her children Martha Ann Price, Rex Allen Jenkins, and Alphonso Garrett her sister Mattie Lou and brother Nathaniel Jr. She is survived by her children Kathy Wright (Tony), Mary Levester, and Timothy Jenkins. Her sisters Georgia Mai and Ella Mai, she also leaves her loving grandchildren, great- grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family would like to thank MSA Hospice for the loving care they gave to our sweet mother, granny, granny pants, and graham cracker. We also would like to thank Sunset Memorial with entrusting with her final remains and Simple Cremation for taking care of our “Queen Bee”, Private service will be held.
