Eric M. Smith, 62, passed away on May 23, 2023. He was born on October 7, 1960, to Linda Coomes in Evansville, Indiana.
Eric worked as a Manager at Phase III for over 40 years. Eric enjoyed spending time in the outdoors on his bicycle. He loved bowling at Franklin Lanes, shooting darts or playing pool at Leroy’s Tavern, and spending time with friends.
Eric is survived by his mother Linda Coomes; siblings Stephen (Eva) Smith, Sarah (Ed) Frysinger, Andy Smith; nieces and nephews Hannah, Myah, Michael (Megan), Madison (Jacob), Kamryn, Michael, April; numerous extended family and friends.
Eric was preceded in death by his brother Danny Smith.
Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at 1pm on Thursday, June 1st, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
