Elnora June (Shelton) Farmer was a caring and loving mother, sister, grandmother, GG and friend. She left this world where she joined her beloved mother and daddy, Lloyd and Lillian Shelton on September 25, 2021 at age 91. She was born February 26, 1930.

Early in her life after graduating from high school, she became a wife and mother with Charles  Hoskinson (deceased), having six surviving children; Terry (Kathy Moore) Hoskinson of  Newburgh, IN : David (Janet) Hoskinson of Evansville ; Susan (Dave) Vanhooser ; Lisha  (Charles) Kesler of Evansville, Michael Hoskinson of Evansville and Christopher (Sherry)  Hoskinson of Evansville. Also, surviving her are 8 grandchildren, Jeremy Cundiff, Matthew  Hoskinson, Tiffani Grubb, Tarah Vanhooser, Christopher II, Heather Tennill, Cody Case and Larz  Case. Also, she is survived by many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear sister Sandra (Dorris) Downing of Tennyson, IN and their son, Philip (Joni) Downing of Newburgh, IN.

She worked at Kent and Ball Plastics for over 40 years where she enjoyed her work and the friends she formed while there. She was a Christian woman who was raised in the Tennyson General Baptist Church where her dad was deacon. She had wonderful parents, Lloyd and Lillian Shelton. She learned to play piano early in her life. She enjoyed travel, crossword puzzles, and had an affection for kitty cats. She enjoyed having her hair done by her dear friend Mary Beth Capps.

Later in life, after becoming a widow to her late husband William Farmer of Tennyson IN, she enjoyed spending time in her sunroom watching the birds, butterflies and squirrels. She deeply loved her visits from her family and friends. She was a beautiful lady who could be witty at times and always carried kindness and love in her heart. She will be deeply missed.
