Elijah Garrett Perkins, 11, was born on June 3, 2008 to Eric and Erin Perkins in Newburgh, Indiana.

Elijah enjoyed spending his time listening to music on his favorite radio stations 106.1 and 96.1. His favorite artists to listen to were Taylor Swift, Sia, and Shawn Mendes. Elijah loved all dinosaurs and dragons, but his all-time favorite was the Blue from Jurassic World and Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. He also liked to play Pokémon and watch Fuller House whenever he could. One of his favorite pastimes was knitting and he would knit several scarves for his mother. Most of all, Elijah loved to spend his time with his family. He was a strong defender of his family. He was a fighter and a courageous young man who was dearly loved by all who met him.
