This lady was one of the friendliest, strongest, determined, most loving friend I have known. I will miss her terribly, but know she is not having to fight any more battles now. My heart goes out to all of her family, who she absolutely cherished and was so incredibly proud of. The view out my window will never be the same.
You was certainly one of a kind sweet lady! So thankful our paths crossed and became friends. We’ve laughed , cried but always was there. Fly high, watch and protect your family and friends from up above. RIP my friend
This lady was one of the most loving, friendly, funny and caring ladiesI have ever known. I will miss her sense of humor, her advice, her understanding, her friendship and her wise cracks (we shared these often!!). She was so incredibly proud of her family and my heart goes out to them all. The view out my window will never be the same, but she is no longer having to fight any battles. God bless.
II am so sorry for your loss…what a truly special person she was…I have such wonderful memories of the kids growing up together…best part of the memories would have to be the Smile they leave on my face…she will be forever in my heart..hugs to the entire family
I have many found memories working with Elaine. She had a great upbeat personality and loved to laugh. May she fly with the angels and live on in our hearts. She will be missed.
I was just talking about Elaine today and saw this. Elaine gave me some of the best work advice when I was in my early 20s, just starting out. She was so funny and kind, loved her friends and family, and was all around the best. I am so incredibly sorry for this loss.
Elaine Marie Briles, 64, passed away peacefully at her home on February 16, 2021. She was born on November 8th, 1956 to Margaret (Elsfelder) Morris and James Morris in Evansville, Indiana.
Elaine was a very energetic, loud, loving, and passionate person. Her biggest passion was the love she had for her friends and family, especially her husband, kids and even more so for her 8 grandchildren. Of her many jobs, Elaine loved being a grandma the most. In her spare time, she loved to crochet, cook, and attend any events that her children or grandchildren took part in.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Marlin; her children Andrea (Aaron) Smith, Aaron (Angie) Briles, Arrick (Molly) Briles, and Austin (Erin) Briles; her grandchildren Audrey, Ella, Ayden, Declan, Oliver, Westyn, Graham, Grayson; her father James Morris; her siblings Carol (Lyman) Matherly, Danny Morris, Bob (Sheila) Morris, Mike (Terri) Morris, Laura (Tim) Wathen, and Rick (Jan) Morris.
Elaine was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Morris.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
