Edward “Jack” Dockery, 86, passed away February 14, 2018, at Good Samaritan Pathways in Evansville. Jack was born the son of Cleggett and Elizabeth Dockery on June 3, 1931 in Evansville.

Jack was a proud retiree of Whirlpool. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting, bowling, and going to the casino.

Jack is survived by his daughters Lisa (Bob) Weakley and Mona (Dan) Winiger; grandchildren Erin (Taylor) Nellis, Lori Golini, Heather and Haley Winiger; great-grandchildren Jude and Elliott Nellis; sister Pat Moseley; and many family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Butch Gootee, the staff at Heritage Hospice, and Good Samaritan Pathways.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Gayla; parents; daughter Debbie Dockery; brothers and sisters.

Short service will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home at 4 p.m. with visitation from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to Good Samaritan Pathways or Heritage Hospice.
