Eduardo “Eddie” A. Gonzalez III, 32, passed away surrounded by his loving family Sunday October 17, 2021 at Deaconess Hospital. He was born in Evansville, Indiana to Eduardo Gonzalez Jr. and Angie Armstrong on April 21, 1989.
Eddie was extremely family orientated. He spent every minute he could with his loving family. He was a momma’s boy and adored his family. He was a very passionate sports fan. Eddie enjoyed watching football, especially the Indianapolis Colts & Denver Broncos. He also loved watching basketball and his favorite team was the Indiana Pacers. He also enjoyed watching baseball and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. Eddie also enjoyed bowling, and Karate as a child. Eddie also loved the Lord and was very spiritual. He was also a lover of food, especially his favorite food; spaghetti. Eddie was so kind to everyone and has the biggest heart. He would do anything for anyone.
Eddie will be deeply missed by his wife of seven years; Ciquel Courtney, his mother Angie (Taylor) Armstrong, and his children; Landon, Preston, Skyler, and soon to be born Hogan. Also missing Eddie are his siblings; Jana (Cliff) Barnett, Patrick (Ashley) Lee, Angelica Gonzalez, Zach Gonzalez, Melissa (George) Seaton, and Mitch (Jennifer) Seaton, his grandparents Edna Camacho, Eduardo Gonzalez Sr. Peggy Schley. Eddie is also survived by his loving step mother; Laurie Gonzalez and father in law Jeff (Deb) Courtney. Also missing Eddie are many loving nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father Eduardo Gonzalez Jr, his grandparents Arthur and DeElla Thompson and Bud Schley.
Visitation for Eddie will be Wednesday 27th from 10am to 12pm at Sunset Funeral Home with service being at 12pm. There will be live streaming through Zoom please call Sunset 812-477-5316 to help you live stream.
