Dorris E. “Eddie” Koonce, passed away on January 7, 2023. Husband, and Father of three, passed away at the age of 48.
Eddie was born to Dorris and Betty (Williams) Watson on July 23, 1974, in Henderson, Kentucky.
Eddie graduated from Henderson County High School. He went on to work various jobs in order to provide for his family. He had several hobbies, his favorite being comic book collecting. He was always successful in getting the best deal. He truly enjoyed talking to kindred spirits, who shared the same passions as him. His talent for art was second to none. Eddie will be missed by all family and friends.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 25 years Nichola (Key) Koonce; children Anthony Koonce, Hunter Koonce, Savanna Koonce; siblings Sandy Jones and Shirley Harmon; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Dorris Watson and Betty Watson; siblings Bobby, Brenda, Julie, Sheila, Sharon, Sambo, and Jimbo.
Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at 12pm on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home.
