I will miss your spirit and zest for life. I enjoyed working with you and the way you loved the residents. RIP YOO HOO 2
I am so sorry to see this. Dorothy was always so kind and treated the residents in nursing facilities like her family. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I ran into her and we had a nice talk. Prayers of comfort for her family.
Still doesn’t seem real. You definitely made a difference in our organization! So very proud to have been your Eagle Sister and friend. Soar with the Eagles little Sister! Thank you for being our shining star!!
Our hearts are very heavy at Heart to Heart Hospice. We loved Dorothy and she loved volunteering and spending time with her patients. She loved on them and was always doing thoughtful things for them. Thursday morning she had been to the nursing home and took one of her assigned patients donuts from Donut Bank and balloons for her birthday. Her big infectious laughter still rings in my ears. We will miss her dearly and our hearts ache for all of her family. We will be praying for peace and comfort for all of you.
Ellen Holland, Volunteer Coordinator and The Heart to Heart Hospice Team
