I’m so sad to hear of your passing. You were one of my favorite caregivers! We shared many laughs whenever we were together. You may have only been my assistant for 1 year but you made a lifetime impression upon my heart. ❤️
Donna Faye Cook passed away on February 28, 2023. She was born on May 27, 1963 to Andy Cook and Freeda Bell (Drake) Cook in Madison, Tennessee.
Donna graduated from Bosse High School. She went on to attend Lockyear College. She worked in healthcare at The Good Samaritan Home. She was a natural caregiver with a heart of gold. She was always more than willing to lend a helping hand. She was an avid country music listener, especially Tim McGraw. Donna was an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved wholeheartedly and will be missed greatly by all.
Donna is survived by her children Darin (Amber) Cook and Amanda Derigo-Sanders; grandchildren Mirakal, Makaylee, and Maxwell; great-granddaughter coming in July, Mariana; sister Patricia (Roy) Averitt; cousins Maxine (Philip) Stewart, Sherry (Jerry) Johnson, Mark Stewart; niece Rachel and nephew Brian; best friend Peggy Baker; and numerous extended family members.
Along with her parents Donna is preceded in death by her brothers Stevie Cook and Ronnie Cook; aunt and uncle who raised Donna, Albert and Pansy Coker.
Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at 12pm on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel of Peace Mausoleum with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
