Dianna “DeeDee” Sue Murphy, 56, passed away on October 6, 2019. She was born on January 26, 1963 to Ivan and Barbara Burgess in Evansville, Indiana.
Dianna worked at Windsor Plastics for 27 years. She loved spending time with her husband. Dianna was a brilliant cook and turned her husband into her sous chef. She had a great Salisbury steak recipe. Dianna enjoyed watching football. Her favorite team was the Baltimore Ravens. Every night Dianna and her husband would play Mario Kart Double Dash. Dianna also enjoyed watching old black and white movies with her husband and playing pool. Her favorite place to travel was Gatlinburg.
Dianna is survived by her husband of 5 years Nathan Murphy; her step-son Ryan Murphy; her siblings Joann (Alan), Alice (Steve), Janet, Greg (Donna), and Patty (Brian); and many loving nieces and nephews including two special ones Kimmy and Michelle.
Dianna was preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration of life will be held of October 27th, 2019 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm at 2615 Glenn Avenue. The family will be providing chicken. Please, bring your favorite side dish and drink. The family would love to see you and celebrate DeeDee and remember her life.
