Diana “DeeDee” Gloriajean McIntosh, 74, passed away on Wednesday April 22, 2020.  She was born in Evansville on November 9, 1945 to Lucille Seibert and Fred Dye.

DeeDee had a passion for animals and loved her dogs.  She was always very strong willed.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, listening to Elvis Presley, playing Donkey Kong on Atari, eating circus peanuts, and spending time with her family and friends.  DeeDee was a movie buff. She always enjoyed watching and collecting all types of movies.  She was a major football fan and loved watching the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts.  While she started her career as a lab technician, DeeDee loved working at Tropicana where she started with them when they opened and retired from there.

DeeDee will be deeply missed by her brother Walt “Buddy” (Janie) Thiry; her nieces and nephews Connie (John) Bishop, Dan (Susan) Hoesli, Cathy (Mark) Elmendorf, David (Ginger) Hoesli, Chris Thiry, Mark Thiry, Renee Thiry, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.  She will also be greatly missed by all of her close friends and co-workers that were a part of her Tropicana Family.

DeeDee is preceded in death by her mother Lucille Seibert, step-father Walt Seibert, father Fred Dye, sister Margie Hoesli, brother-in-law Ted Hoesli, nephew Randy Hoesli, and great-nephew Jerrod Elmendorf.

Per DeeDee’s wishes there will be a private burial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in DeeDee’s honor to Vanderburgh Humane Society.
