Derrick Christopher Davis, 37, passed away on August 31, 2020. He was born on January 10, 1983 to Thomas Davis and Linda Holford in Muncie, Indiana.

Derrick was very crafty and loved working with his hands on construction projects. He worked as a carpenter for over 10 years. He was a very talented woodworker. Derrick was a very talented cook as well. He also loved riding motorcycles and off-road vehicles. Derrick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Derrick is survived by his daughter Adara Davis; his siblings Chasin Wells, Joe (Kristy) Davis, and Aaron Davis; his step-siblings Crystal (Damien) Mars, and Russell (Patricia) Ellison; his parents Thomas Davis and Linda Holford; and his nieces and nephews Hannah Davis, Eloria Vocavich, Christopher Davis, Taylor Wells, Ryan Wells, Kyle Wells, Adeina Mars, Kohen Mars, Zoey Ellison, Kasin Ellison, Lily Ellison, and Ronja Ellison.

Derrick was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob and Catherine Davis and Susan Dailey.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Aubrey Adam’s and jesse Adam’s will always miss u you were a dear friend to us. We had many good times
