Dennis W. Bird, 64, of Wadesville, IN, passed away peacefully in his house surrounded by loved ones on Friday, August 5, 2022. Dennis was born in 1958 to James and Patricia Bird in Shelbyville, Indiana.
Dennis was a Structural Engineer. He held licenses in eight states, an accomplishment he and his family were very proud of.
Dennis and his wife loved traveling, camping, and kayaking.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Mike; as well as their fur babies, Fritz, Buddy, Charlie and recently Trevor.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joyce; his sister Janice (Jerry) Veerkamp of Shelbyville, IN; his mother-in-law, Hallie Sherwood; his brother-in-law, Ron (Jan) Sherwood; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Dan) Moore and Betty (Richard) Decuber; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate in his name to Poseyville Christian Church (6 E Main St. Poseyville, IN 47633) or PanCan- Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
