My husband and I worked with Earl many years ago. Over the course of years we lost touch but I would often run into him at the gas station, store etc,. He always took the time for conversation.Earl would always mention The Lord , his wife and church. He never failed to ask how my husband was doing. I knew him as a kind man that cared about people.

Earl, for many years was like a brother, both spiritually and physically. Lost touch over the years due to relocating to Alexandria, Louisiana. Just learned of his passing. Earl walked with the Lord.

Earl Eugene Williams Sr., 79, went home to Jesus on April 8th, 2023. He was born on May 21st, 1943, born to James and Marie (Jones) Williams in Evansville, Indiana. He was the youngest of 12 children.

Earl was dedicated to his church community and took great joy in sharing his faith with others as a Deacon at Bethany Apostolic Church. He enjoyed riding around in his truck scrap metaling. His favorite days were spent at family gatherings or in fellowship with his congregation. Above all, he loved his Church and he loved his family. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Earl is survived by his loving wife Ellen Williams; children Roberta Hogan, Marguerite Williams; step-children Robin (Alphonso) O’Quinn, Dawn (Daniel Sr.) Dixon, Patricia (Dewayne) Esters; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving family.
