David Liggett, 55, passed away on March 26, 2023. He was born on August 21, 1967, to Paul David Liggett and Nancy (Remington) DuPont in Evansville, Indiana.
David attended North High School. He worked as a Supervisor at O’Bryan Barrel for over 27 years. He was an avid Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Lakers fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed hiking and fishing. He lived a very active lifestyle; he was in the gym every day. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. David treasured the time he spent with his family.
David is survived by his children Damien Liggett, Angie Liggett, Victoria Liggett, Christopher Liggett, Haley Liggett, Ashley Liggett, Brittany (Chuck) Culver; grandchildren Kaedyn, Cherish, Darren, Dalton, Josh’lyne, Lincoln, Nova, Daelan, Mariana, DaVeonate, Hunter, Brandon, Julian; parents Paul (Rebekah) Liggett and Nancy (Paul) DuPont; siblings Rebecca Taylor, Bobbie Liggett, Amy Liggett-McCartney; longtime friends Ginger and Lisa; cat Broom Hilda; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and best friend Roger Rittenberry.
A special thank you to the staff on the 6 floor East at St. Vincent Hospital.
Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home.
