Darrell Eugene Hollis, 77, passed away on July 2nd, 2021. He was born on July 26, 1943, in Mt. Vernon, Indiana.
Darrell was a character and always knew how to have a good time. He was so outgoing, he never met a stranger. He greatly enjoyed grand theft auto, collecting guns, model cars, and fishing. He had an F150 truck that was his pride and joy. Above all else, he loved time spent with his children and grandchildren. Family and friends meant everything to him. Darrell was so loved.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Darrell is survived by his children William “Bill” Hollis, Christopher Hollis, and Amy Robinson; sister Glady Bishop, she was one of many siblings; grandchildren Braxton Hollis and Ava Gammon; and honorary family member and longtime friends Meagan (Billy) Gammon; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family wants to send out an extended thank you to Heritage Center in particular the nurses who took care of him and made his last few years so enjoyable, he loved the ladies ♥
