Craig and Mary, I’m so very sorry for your loss, especially in this difficult time when we can’t gather and comfort one another the way we normally would. My prayers are with you and your family.
Cynthia June (Eckelkamp) May, 62, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2021. Cynthia was born on June 27, 1958 in Bridgeton, Missouri to her parents, Phyllis (Eldridge) and Roger.
Cindi was an amazing daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. She dedicated her entire life to helping and caring for others. Whether it was caring for her patients as a compassionate nurse or caring for her family as a devoted daughter, she never failed to make everyone around her feel valued and loved. She had a special way of giving her whole heart to everything she did. Not only was Cindi a nurse, she was also an incredible landscape designer with a true passion for growing anything. Cindi’s way of seeing life in everything, even in the most seemingly inanimate things inspired everyone around her. Cindi’s tremendous ability to give her whole heart to all that she loved will live on in her legacy for many years to come.
Cindi is preceded in death by her father, Roger Eckelkamp and her brother, Patrick Eckelkamp.
Cindi will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her mother, Phyllis (Eldridge) Eckelkamp; her daughter, Mandi Volz; her granddaughter, Megan Volz; her brothers, Michael (Bernardine), Mark (Kathy), and Craig (Mary Gail) Eckelkamp; her sister, Cheryl Eckelkamp; and her lifelong friend, Dave Thomas.
No services will be held at this time.
