Cynthia “Cindy” Klassy, 69, passed away November 15, 2017 in Evansville. Cindy was born the daughter of Roger Norman and Ruth Klassy in Evansville on March 10, 1948.

Cindy was known for her heart of gold. She gave all she had to whomever she could find to give it to (love, laughter, labor, time or money; there was no limit to her giving). As long as she was able, she gave her all the bring happiness to all she touched, leaving a legacy of love and kindness. She was on the board for United Caring Services and a lifelong member of Bethel United Church of Christ. Cindy was a dedicated real estate agent in Evansville and the surrounding areas. Above all, Cindy was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, a kind and compassionate sister and sister-in-law, always willing to help her loved ones. She graduated Harrison High School where she was the football homecoming queen in 1966. After high school she attended I.U. in Bloomington, IN. She enjoyed sailing, fishing with her family, and always made sure to host the holidays for her family. Mama will be missed deeply by many.

Cindy is survived by her daughter Kristin (Jason) Dominick; grandchildren Isaac Dominick and Lauren Dominick; mother Ruth Klassy; siblings Susan Staalenburg, Teresa Collins, Carolyn Klassy, and Roger (Tammy) Klassy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father Roger Norman Klassy and brother-in-law Joe Staalenburg.
