Cheryl Ann Fenwick, 54, passed away in Evansville, Indiana on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 17th, 1966 to her parents, Janet (Carlton) and Albert Shadrick.
Cheryl was a joyful person who loved to laugh and have fun. She loved to spend time outside enjoying the fresh air and spending time gardening. She was a woman of faith who liked watching church service online and listening to gospel music. Her friends and family meant everything to her. She loved spending time with them above everything else.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Shadrick; her brother, William R. Shadrick; and her sister-in-law, Cleta Shadrick.
Cheryl is survived by her mother, Janet Shadrick; her children, Dale (Amanda) Higgs, KC Lara and her companion, Matt Leach. She also leaves behind Jacob Dwyer and Heaven S. Shadrick, whom she took care of and raised. She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Will Bent and Josh, Abby, Sarah, Daniel, and Chris Fenwick; her brothers, Roy “Junior” (Cary), Gary W. (Kari), and Robert C. Shadrick; her sisters, Carolyn (John) M. and Kim (Fuzz) M. Williams; 33 grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and her best friend, Charla Lamar.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Thursday, December 31st, 2020 from 1-3pm with service to follow immediately at 3. The service will be live-streamed via Zoom. Please call Sunset at 812-477-5316 for the login information.
