Charles “Chuck” Mosley Jr., 78, passed away on March 8, 2023. He was born on August 5, 1944 to Charles Mosley Sr. and Freda Mosley in Oakland, California.
Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Lamasco Transfer for 27 years. He retired from Angel Mounds after many years. Chuck was a member of the Governor Riffle Club. He was a local Teamster. Chuck was a jack of all trades, he could fix anything. He had an impressive collection of patriotic eagles. Chuck loved attending flea markets, fishing, and working on automobiles. He loved fixing cars and watching racing, especially attending Thunder on Ohio. He loved being involved in sporting events and activities with his children and grandchildren. His fondest memories were surrounding his family. Chuck will be missed greatly by all.
Chuck is survived by his children Melissa (Hank) Sanderfur, Charles “Charlie” Mosley III, Joseph Mosley, Harold “Chris” Mosley; grandchildren Wayne, Lexi (Jacob); sisters Liz (Gene) Schmitt; sister-in-law Bonnie Mosley; companion of many years Tammy; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, great-grandma, and brother Jimmy Mosley; special buddy, his poodle Mickey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
