We enjoyed sharing our projects with each other and she always knew the best advice for restoring a piece of furniture. We shared many private chats and I looked forward to seeing her posts everyday. Even though we never met in person, we liked a lot of the same things. Rest in peace sweet friend. I will miss you. ❤️
Brenda K. Russell, 59, passed away on February 7, 2023.
She was born on October 23, 1963, to James and Diane DeCamps in Evansville, Indiana.
Brenda was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Brenda was so thoughtful and put her family and friends before all. She was notorious for buying a gift for her loved ones, just because they were on her mind. Brenda never met a stranger; she had an unparalleled zest for life. She enjoyed traveling, her favorite locations being Destin, Florida, and Smoky Mountains, Tennessee. Above all, Brenda cherished special memories made with her family. Brenda’s joyous spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Brenda is survived by her husband Bryan Russell; children Wendy Russell (Steve Sharp), Curtis Russell (Breanne Desousa), Madisen Russell; grandchildren Zachary Ricketts, Haleigh Ricketts, Bradley Russell, Kiara Hale, Wesley Spurlock, and Kaiden Desousa; Siblings Larry DeCamps, Jeff (Pam) DeCamps, Scott (Heather) DeCamps; and many extended family and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother Diana Damrath, and her niece Lacy Turner.
A Celebration of Life to honor Brenda will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, with visitation at 10 am until the time of service at 12 pm at Sunset Funeral Home.
