Brenda Jean Walsh, 72, passed away on June 23, 2020. She was born on June 23, 1948 to Jesse Banks and Virginia Woods in Paducah, Kentucky.

Brenda was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was an animal lover. Brenda retired as a CNA after 25 years. She especially loved her pug Roxy and Daisy Mae. She also enjoyed playing penny slots at the casino. Brenda loved spending time with her family and friends.

Brenda is survived by her children Kathy Dant (David Pitsonbarger), Harry (Trudy) Ramsey, Charlie (Andrea) Ramsey, and Linda Dorris (Scott Schutte); her grandchildren Jeffrey, Brittany (Derek), Zachary, Jason (Jyllian), Josh (Lauren), Ashley (Amanda), Ariel (Kyle), Charlie Jr. (Kylee), Nicholas (Makayla), Nathan (Krista), Blake, and Leanna; her great-grandchildren Jaylynn, Brayden, Brylynn, Kylee, Nathan Jr., Jonathan, Amira, Darrian, Isaiah, Charlie III, Whitney, Elliegh, Lexx, Vyncent, Olyver, Matthew, Weston, Gunner, Raelynn, Remi, Edan, Izabella, Alex, Clayton, and Eli; her siblings Jesse Banks, Donald Banks, Ricky Banks, Timmy Banks, Nancy Banks, Linda Banks, Tammy Banks, Vickie Banks, and Ronnie Banks; her mother Virginia (Woody) Woods; and many loving nieces and nephews; and her special friends Peggy, Rebecca, and Harry Ramsey.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father and her granddaughters Melissa and Shaina; her brothers Johnny Banks and Jimmy Banks; her sister-in-law Kathy Banks; and her son-in-law Larry Dant.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Friday, June 26th at Sunset Funeral Home with burial to follow at Alexander Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations toward Brenda’s funeral expenses.
