Bonnie Jean Walden, 83, passed away on June 1, 2022. She was born on November 13, 1938, to Harmon Lancaster and Grace (Ellison) Carter in Evansville, Indiana.

Bonnie Walden loved her family dearly.  Spent 40 wonderful years with her husband Billy Gene.

Bonnie loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She especially loved the summertime of the year, there was more days to head to Cindy’s and jump in the pool, grill some chicken, hot dogs, or hamburgers, and then play Skip-Bo until it got so late, she would just spend the night and head home the next day. She also loves to eat out. Wayne would take her out all the time all kinds of different places around in E-Town and Radcliff and of course her favorite place which was Outback Steakhouse eat, sit, and drink coffee and talk awhile she really enjoyed that. She liked a bit of gambling too, so her and Linda would go up to Tropicana in Evansville, spend the night and play on machines, eat of course, and then play Skip-bo and talk for hours in their room. She really enjoyed the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, she always brought the deviled eggs, everybody loved them, and you knew she loved making them.  She was always the first one there and the last one to leave. She took care of her kids even into adulthood they are still her kids she would help in any way she could, whether it was moral support, helping cook, clean, even financially if she could, she would. Bonnie was the glue after Bill passed. She became mother and father and that’s no easy task, but she did it. She loved life.

Bonnie is survived by her children Cindy Cranmer (Marshall), Linda Cox (Joe), Wayne Walden; grandchildren Donnie McNear, Michael McNear, John Mcnear, Mary Dean, George Cox, Gregory Cox, Jessica Pottet, Dylan Walden, Rihanna Cranmer, Marshall Cranmer, AnnaBelle Worth, Jadin Worth, Robbie Skaggs; great-grandchildren Michael, Vanessa and so many more.
