Blanch Louise “Lulu” Head, 65, passed away on December 6, 2020. She was born July 7, 1955 in Evansville, Indiana to Valace and Rocky Layman.

Blanch’s favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her life. She loved to color for leisure. For fun, she loved playing bingo and going thrifting. She also loved traveling. She lived for making sure her family was happy and loved. She would always call to make sure everything in their lives was going well. She was very social and had many close friends nearby.

She graduated high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma and went onto complete some college after that. She worked at the University of Evansville as a housekeeper and was actively involved with the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Blanch was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother; Thelma Carter, sisters; Shirley Bellew, brother; Dewayne Layman, and husband; Robert Head.

Blanch is survived by her sons; Wayne Joe (Crystal Pennington) Vaughn and James Edward Coon, Jr.; and her daughter, Tiffany (Erick Buckner) Brown; also daughter-in-law, Heather Vaughn. Also by her siblings; Danny Layman, Johnny Layman, and Donna (Louis) Moschner. Finally, by her thirteen grandkids; Kaliyah, Nautica, Krissy, Heaven, Chloe, Domonic “Manny”, Kiera, Dusty, Ahnya, Jimmy, Lexington, Kollyns, and Jesse; her great-grandchild, Malakai “Kai”, and her nieces; Angel, Denise, Danielle “Dani”, and Lilly.
